A castle located on Heart Island in the St. Lawrence River in Upstate New York's Thousand Island region; Built around 1900 by George C. Boldt, owner of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel as a gift for his wife, but she died and the castle was never completed; See website for tour boat operators to see the castle; You can also take a shuttle boat to the Yacht House to see Boldt's collection of antique wooden boats
