May be the most painted and photographed covered bridge in Maine. Built in 1872. The original 1811 bridge was washed away in 1869. Closed to vehicular traffic in 1958. Length 100 feet. Located next to the new uncovered bridge on Sunday River Road. Parking available on the road shoulder.
