Annual hot air ballon festival for participants and spectators that attracts about about 100,000 people each year; Tethered and untethered balloon rides available; Launches at 6:00 am and 6:00 pm each day; Live entertainment; SCA Medieval Encampment at Bonney Park (over the footbridge) during the same weekend; Parking available in nearby lots around the Bates Mill and along Lincoln Street (by donation) and in other downtown lots; Handicap parking available inside the main gate. Free admission.
